Open Terrariums & Succulents

Open Terrariums are a beautiful and vibrant alternative to their counterpart the closed terrarium.  Open terrariums offer multiple opportunities for plants that thrive in drier conditions.  They are not sealed allowing for natural air circulation and direct exposure to the surrounding environments.  Succulents, cacti and many house plants fall into this category.

Open Terrarium & Succulent Care

Succulents love full sun exposure; a warm sunny window or bright light.  A few drops of water at the base of the plant every 7-10 days using the dropper provided.  Cactus and succulents do not like their leaves wet, as they will take in too much water and rot.  In warmer months, water 1x a week as needed.  Water sparingly during the winter months.  The coconut succulent can also be kept outside during the summer.  Any questions, let us know!
