Our Story

As we run along the crazy, fast-paced treadmill of life, it becomes essential for each of us to find an escape of comfort and serenity, a place of Zen.

We found our Zen in the Green Mountains of Vermont. We packed the truck with all of our food and necessities needed , no agenda planned, and have ventured to all areas across the state. From the small stores of Brattleboro to the endless mountains of the Northeast Kingdom, we have found each stop to be just as beautiful as the last.

In our travels, we have come across so many beautiful specimens of moss, ferns and rocks which we have collected and cared for with the intention of creating small ecosystems. Each Peace, Love and Coconut offers a little piece of Vermont. We have collected many odd-shaped and interesting vessels to create our designs in, also found within the multiple thrift and antique stores throughout the state.

Suzanne’s landscape design, attention to detail , love for plants and nature combined perfectly with my passion for aquariums and underwater plant and aquatic life. This is what created the uniqueness and individuality to each Peace Love and Coconuts.
